Hi Simon

Sorry I'm not replying to your original post (Stuck on the machine at home) it
would seem that Jman community manager @ Fedora Forum is trying to help.

He asked me to do rpm -V perl which gives the following

[root at lightstar ~]# rpm -V perl
prelink: /usr/bin/perl: Could not find one of the dependencies
prelink: /usr/bin/perl: at least one of file's dependencies has changed since
prelinking
S.?..... /usr/bin/perl
prelink: /usr/bin/perl5.8.8: Could not find one of the dependencies
prelink: /usr/bin/perl5.8.8: at least one of file's dependencies has changed
since prelinking
S.?..... /usr/bin/perl5.8.8
prelink: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/libperl.so: Could
not find one of the dependencies
S.?..... /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/libperl.so

So I reckon its the libperl.so its after that should have been installed by
default I wont look for it yet lets wait and see what Jman says.
