Well One Laptop Per Child will certainly be helpful in countries that
are short of computer hardware - but over here we already have 
enough powerful machines for every household, with millions reaching 
landfill sites every year.

Companies have to pay to dispose of their old kit now, and anything 
up to five years old is powerful enough to be comfortable with
some flavour of Ubuntu, so all that's needed is something to match
up the kit with the users ;-)

Please step forward someone with a *lot* of free time.
