I think that if we name a place then we need to stick
to it for the entire evening, if we all hate it then
we  can never go back but to "move on" on an evening
is, as Pete says, going to leave late comers in the
lurch (and first timers tend to come late). 

Meetings need to take place as advertised on the
website and this here mailing list and meetings should
only be changed or cancelled with enough notice
beforehand so that everyone has a chance to see it.

Some people come a fair distance to meets so it would
be nice to know that when we get there we're going to
be at the right place.

If we say we're going to be at location X at time/date
Y we need to be there and stay there.

P.S. I doubt this is contoversial but its the only
part of the entire discussion I have a strong opinion
