[Wolves] Fedora 6 Volume Management

I'm trying to get some data off a disk that was in a Fedora machine, and 
have plugged it into a Fedora machine using
USB and the two partitions appear as /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2

sda1 appears in the the filesystem as /boot and is readable.
sda2 won't mount, and appears as part of Volume0 (which the main hard 
drive also is).
It won't let me take it out of the volume - as it says there is no room 
to put the data elsewhere.

How can I get round this/mount it.
