My order of preference would be:

1 - IPMI
2 - SNMP
3 - Xen
4 - Kickstart

I know almost nothing about IPMI (yet!) but it sounds highly useful.
Being a Nagios enthusiast I'd always be keen to hear all about SNMP of
course!
