No but Adept Manager from the GUI is stuffed :-(  A lot of reports the
same as mine that it tries to start but then just disappears after
flashing its tray icon for about 5 minutes...  The notifier is
similarly balked which ain't good.  I ended up having to log in as
root to actually get some updates.  This was from a full upgrade
rather than a clean install.  I thought those bad old days were gone.
