It might be you that thinks I am bit scary not the other way round-you might be the ones to run off if I come to your meetings! Anyway more seriously is there anyone who could tell me how to make the update manager stop updating the same 91 updates all by itself! Also can anyone explain how clamv actually does anything! I have ubuntu running on a Dell Mini (2 weeks old) and vista premium on an Acer laptop which is a reassuring friend when I cannot get to grips with making Ubuntu do what I want to. I cant write a command line other than sudo apt-get which seems to be the answer to everything(except I cant think what to put after it!

Hi Jenette,
The other thing to do is to come to a meeting one Wednesday Evening, The
next should be on the 15th July. We are quite friendly bunch really. We
may look scary but we are "Mostly Harmless" ;-)
