[Wolves] Accessing mysql through php from jailshell

Hi all, I have set up a jailshell account on my server, and I can no 
longer access mysql from within my php scripts - I get an "access denied 
for user '<user>'@localhost" message.  however, I know I have enabled 
localhost access for the user as it works when I try accessing from 
mysql cli from a non-jailed user.

Does anyone have any ideas?
