[Wolves] iPlayer desktop on Ubuntu 10.04 not downloading shows

After replacing Lucid 64-bit with Lucid 32-bit, I have iPlayer desktop
installed and running. First attempted download is yesterday's Doctor
Episode

When I click the download link on that page iPlayer desktop starts,
and an entry appears in the Downloads list. However it won't download
the actual data, the rate sits at 0 b/s, the status sits at 'Download
Paused' whether I click Pause or Resume. Any ideas anyone?
