Hi everyone

I've had an enquiry for some on-site MySQL consultancy, but my hands are
kind of full at the moment so I thought I'd throw it out here, before I
move on to other local groups and the lug.org.uk Linux Jobs list.

It's a provisional enquiry for MySQL performance tuning, replication and
failover. Work is on-site in London. Experience of the reasons why
people want this kind of work, they either have a chronic time-shortage
until a deadline or they have chronic problems that they can't solve, so
perhaps a good knowledge of underlying OS/hardware issues that affect
MySQL performance would probably be useful.

Let me know off-list if you're interested and your day rates and I'll
pass you over to our sales/contracts guy. Perhaps you could recommend
somebody?

Apologies for the brusque and perhaps tasteless manner of this post, I'm
in the middle of writing a training course with a near deadline :)
