Does excel have 'track changes' ? Would that be sufficient? Alternatively, dropbox has some concept of version history I think. But it'd be hard to see what had changed between specific revisions unless you did a 'binary chop' like thing to find out when a specific cell was changed?


I've come across people who are using FoxPro - they seem to be eager to move onto something else every time. Often to PHP/LAMP.

It almost sounds like you want to use an accounts package? Kashflow might be of use - it can do repeating invoices, and obviously tracks a history and would tell you who was behind etc etc. It's non-free and not open source though. I've not come across any decent O/S accounting packages.
