[Wolves] installing plone 4.5.1 on ubuntu issue

Yes, I occasionally install Plone. I think in this instance the problems are all down to not having the necessary build environment. At a guess something like :

apt-get install build-essential python-dev libc6-dev python2.6-dev python-setuptools python-pil

Might be a good start. 

I suspect the install guide details all you need; otherwise do an 'apt-cache search <missing thing>'. Plone will compile it's own local version of python - although it may need specific flags to do this.
