I would definitely look at the fractal aerials then if money is an
object.  We are talking ultra dirt cheap if not free as you may have
the bits to hand.  They look rubbish and do not look as though they
will work but they do.  We have an aerial that I put up in the loft.
It works better than the commercial one I had put up on the outside of
the house!!!!  Go figure...
