Do you remember the bust up we had over snipping/mail format and netiquette= ?=20 Well I bow to your superior knowledge, I wanted to upgrade my KDE to 3.2=20 I had loads and loads of trouble but didn't want to bother the list surfice= to=20 say I had to remove loads of things to get KDE 3.2 on, one of the things wa= s=20 my beloved Evolution (or at least it got removed along with some other=20 conflicts) I fired up KMail to use while hammering KDE into place I now=20 understand why you wanted that -- put in place also why keeping =A0to the=20 thread is good as KMail links those messages together. Not sure who it was that is the 'apt-get' king in the group but I have also= =20 managed to finally get that and synaptic installed, looks very nice althoug= h=20 I still seem to get the weird problem of stuff not being recognised for=20 example I installed open Office ages back and use it allot but synaptic=20 (apt-get) says its not installed the same goes for Mozilla but it is loaded= . All I need to do is learn how to use it now! I know its not strictly the subject but they are both new toys to me. Oh by the way I'm thinking of getting a Logitech Webcam Laptop pro (suppose= dly=20 supported under Linux going to cost me around =A340.00 any thoughts? Sorry to send this direct but I have just found out that all the lug's I am= a=20 member of are rejecting me so I must have a wrong setting somewhere could y= ou=20 do me a favour and forward this to the list. --=20 Regards Peter Cannon peter@cannon-linux.freeserve.co.uk "And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer" ]
