<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have installed Ubuntu (4.10 'Warty' - the
download version) and it installed without problems. There is one problem
- when the Gnome desktop appears there is a black cross in the centre of
the screen, the mouse pointer passes under the cross so the cross must be 'on
top'. The cross does eventually go but for no predictable
reason.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Has anyon any experience of this problem (well more
of an irritation than a problem) and is so what is the cure. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Other than this minor glitch Ubuntu seem to work
very well - even the desktop colour is ok.</FONT></DIV>
