I've been lurking on this list for the past few days...I came across the WolvesLUG via Jono's website whilst browsing the delicious tags for rubyonrails.<BR>

Thought I'd finally get around to saying hello to people here...I'm not very good at intros (I'm already dreading having to stand up in front of people at my first LUG meeting...I hate public speaking!) but I'll give it a go anyway. I live just outside Wolverhampton town centre and I'm the regional manager for a company called lastfield. I'm a web developer/programmer, working mainly in PHP although I'm starting to shift my attention towards Ruby and RubyOnRails. My OS of choice is Ubuntu, though I still have to maintain a WinXP dual boot for work reasons.<BR>

Its pretty cool that there is a Wolves LUG...since I moved up here 3 years ago with my girlfriend (she just completed here Fine Art/Painting degree at Wolves Uni) it's been a bit hard to find anybody who shares my interests in either computer-related stuff or music, outside of my girlfriend's small circle of Uni mates. Not had much money to socialise! But I look forward to attending my first meeting...<BR>

Out of interest, whats the average age of everybody here? I'm 22.<BR>
