<DIV>Hi Peter, what a great name :)<BR><BR>I'd leave SuSE 10.1 for at least a
month (As Kevan said) it already has <BR>problems, just to shock everyone I'd
suggest you give Ubuntu a try, the <BR>colour scheme looks like pooh but its a
very good distro.<BR></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you Mr Cannon it is indeed a great name.I've had it for 74 years. The
more I try to find out which flavour of Linux will suit me best, the more
uncertain I become. However if an old geezer like me can use most Linux OS
variations there is hope for most of the worlds poorest to own and use it
instead of having to pay extortionate money for Bills troublesome offering and
its high priced applications.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> I
have tried Ubuntu and like many others it is very usable and stable.Sunday I
downloaded and tried Kororaa with its xgl graphics.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> I
suppose thinking it over having <STRONG>bought </STRONG>Suse 9.1 with its
two manuals it may be possible to upgrade at a modest cost.I will take the
advice given-wait and watch and when the dust settles buy.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>
Thanks to all for the advice</DIV>
