Also,<br><br>Tried installing Ubuntu on my brothers PC the other week, admitedly 8.04.<br>However the installer really did not want to start the GUI, instead droped down to an initramfs console.<br>Is this expected behaviour of Ubuntu? I assume it was the Geforce 7800 it did not like, but then it would have been helpful to show some kind of message when X fails to start.<br>
