Can't promise to solve the problem but at least<br>>we should be able to see where it went wrong.<br><br>>Regards,<br><br>>Adam Sweet<br><br>- --<br><br>The problem I have is I can't get to a point where I can open a terminal, the whole thing stops no keyboard or anything works so I have to shut down through holding the power button until it powers down. <br><br>I installed Mandriva and that went well without any
hiccups so its Ubuntu that is broke rather than my machine or monitor. I cannot do much about that. <br><br>I have dismissed the wireless altogether now (quite annoyed about that) and went for the Ethernet connection via the electric wires and that is working fine. <br><br>I'll give the ubuntu install another go and see what happens.
