hey everybody - got a question. Anybody here any good at laptop repairs? I got a Acer Aspire 7730 and the LCD display and if the lid is opened more than 90 degrees, then all the white areas on the screen suddenly goes pink (well - it gets red dots on it like a grid). Think it might be a loose connection or faulty cable - the screen itself run fine when at a rigid 90 degrees.

* What sort of price am I looking at
* Any recommendations repair companies to use/avoid?
* Is this something I can fix myself? or do I need a specialist? - bear in mind... I did destroy my brother sony vaio trying to upgrade his hard drive with ubuntu (I broke the track pad connection and sheared off some of the screw points so the case doesn't screw shut properly - but at least he had ubuntu installed \o/)
* can any one here want to take a look at it?

thanks.
