<div dir="ltr">Andy. I tend to get the free updates. The ones where other users have submitted corrections for stuff like incorrect one way streets etc. I think I've done one paid for update but I tend to leave it for a couple of years. All the other stuff they do release freely like software updates (of course not as in 'free' and open just free monetarily).<div>

Do you realise that the maps have to be paid for so they probably
have DRM too? There was talk some years ago of work to create a
FOSS implementation that could use Open Streetmaps
#ItWillNeverWork but I suspect the number of devices Tom Tom
brought out will have screwed that up.<br>
