<p dir="ltr">The Core 2 Duo is 64bit. They are pretty good CPUs except for the TLBs being to small.</p>
<p dir="ltr">What are the symptoms of this machine. I'm a little confused as to what the issue is?</p>

<p dir="ltr"><br></p></div></div><p dir="ltr">Theres no issue apart from wanting ubuntu and the xp machine doesn't boot most times and cannot connect to the router. Was just wondering if any one had a copy of ubuntu to borrow. Id cover any expences. Dave seems to have it, so ill email him.</p>

</div></blockquote></div>Sorry if I'm missing a point here, but if you have another machine connected to the internet you should be able to download. Will only take 30mins on a moderate broadband connection. You can then either load it on to a USB (with a software tool, as moving the ISO on to the drive will flat out not work) or burning it to a CD/DVD (again with a tool which supports burning ISO images, there are plenty of free ones which do a good job.)</div>

But my brother took the machine i told him not to take and he wont be back from london for a few months. So all in all i have the dell( no net connection) and this BB playbook,. I know i know.</div><div dir="ltr">So i'm just after a cd/dvd to get rid of xp and get back to ubuntu on the dell machine.
