What a surprising message! I enjoyed this list very much, too, but closing
it does make sense.

Being German, I was basically just a visitor. Having fond memories of my
year working in Leeds 2004/2005! Managed to attend a couple of times, and I
think there was even a talk of Alan Cox given once, wasn't it?
Observed the list all the years after, and always being loyal to Linux
since ca 2000. Today, even my Bosch work laptop, which was the last Windows
machine for me, runs natively on a corporate Linux distribution.

Regards,
Peter Holtwick
