<div dir="ltr">Hiya <br><br>I'm looking for a new distro to try <br>at the moment I'm using gentoo and while I love Gentoo I have a few bug bears that really annoy me<br>so looking for a new distribution to give a go <br>
<br>so far I've played with <br><br>Arch linux failed to install shame really as i liked this one from a previous install and can have encrypted system <br>Fedora 9 the GUI package manager looks like its not been finished and that annoyed me, but i did like that it can be encrypted<br>
ubuntu was ok but could not hibernate & no encrypted setup<br>Open suse . dvd from cover disk on a magazine failed to read , downloading DVD ISO as we speak but 5hours to go :0(<br><br>Things i need<br>Blue tooth ,support in nautilus (gnome) or KDE equivalent <br>
java or more important josm (open street mapping software)<br>Virtual box / vmware <br>Ruby on Rails (version 2 preferred )<br>Firefox to support Java & Flash<br>Wine version 1<br><br>Evil things i need<br><br>Nvidia gfx cards ,yes evil drivers i know but i can't standl with the
lack of responsiveness the open source version provides , plus i play
tux cart and other linux glx games<br>mp3 support , once again yes evil . but i don't fancy re ripping my cd collection to make them ogg to then not be able to play them on my mp3 player<br>Adobe flash.. nuff said <br>
