</div></div>Yes, it is usual. Someone else will come in with the technical reason,<br>
but basically usb devices and hard drives now use the sd prefix.<br>
<br>
There are a few reports of a bug in one of the hardy kernels causing<br>
the error you're seeing. Are both boxes running the same kernel?<br>
