The camera now appears to be detected correctly. I am not sure what has changed since I last tried it (I have installed some recent updates when prompted). I'll bear the dmsg tip in mind for future reference though.<br>

<br>already done so.<br><br>For the camera, try looking at the output from 'dmesg | tail' a few<br>seconds after plugging it in. Also, look in /dev to see if something<br>like 'sda1' appears.<br><br>_______________________________________________
