i'm married to nick who's also on this list. nick's a programmer. i use 
the computer for graphics and generating fractals. i use the gimp, 
xfractint and apophysis (using wine), though i haven't done any graphics 
for awhile due to illness. i don't programm which is a bit of a 
disadvantage when using linux.
