What are his areas of interest, apart from not game development?

Is he only interested in theoretical knowledge, or would development or
other forms of involvment be interesting to him? There are certainly
plenty of things to do for people knowledgable in Linux.

Personally, I find my participation in and contributions to the
community to be one of the most rewarding thing about being a user of
Free and Open Source software, and I constantly learn more through it.
