[Bassetlug mailing] BassetLUG on tomorrow evening

Hi All,

Just to confirm that we will meet as usual tomorrow evening at The Crossing,
Worksop. Danny R has arranged for Greg to talk about using GIMP (the
Graphics Image Manipulation Program) and the like. It's opensource's
equivalent to photoshop etc. Should be good for anyone who takes a digital
photo, or needs to edit a graphic for web or desktop publishing etc.

I've decided that my time as LUGMaster of bassetLUG is coming to an end,
because of an increasing amount of other commitments. This not mean of the
end of the LUG in this area if others are willing to carry on the work of
course, or it could be re-launched in an new way. I know we have ruminated
on that to some extent.

The responsibilities with the way it is setup at the moment include:
The website and the mailing list, both provided free by lug.org.uk and the
facebook group, plus the meetings.

Let me/the list know if you'd like to be someone interested in taking this
on (or it could be done as a group of course).
