I hope everyone had a good christmas, and you are all looking forward to =
a similarly enjoyable new year.=20
I volunteered back in October to coordinate the arrangement of meetings =
whilst Neil was busy. I am ashamed to say I didn't perform this role =
very well, due to sudden personal commitments of my own. I do however =
apologise, and hope to make up for that now.
So, without further ado - lets have a meeting this month. I would like =
to initially propose wednesday 22nd January for this meeting. If =
everyone can make this then we can decide the venue later.
I would like to see if we can expand and develop this LUG in the new =
year. If this date is too difficult for many of you then it can be =
changed - but only if feedback is reasonably prompt. So, please let me =
know if you can make it - and if you can't then try and suggest an =
alternative date. I will try my best to accomodate everyone as best as I =
can.
I was not intending to promote a theme or agenda for this meeting. I =
personally would like to just meet some of you - put some faces to the =
names etc. I think a social setting would be good, and we can use this =
meeting to perhaps express opinions about the LUG and what directions we =
can go etc.
Anyway, get back to me with your views.
