Hullo all,
Sorry I wasn't there - I'm in Reading, which is a slight problem :)
Anyway, it's good that a proper meeting has finally occured! Hopefully
they'll be one during my holidays so I can come along!
Now as for these keys, I have to admit GnuPG still confuses me slightly.
I'm using Mozilla+Enigmail for e-mail (though once KDE3.1 gets released
- Monday?! - I'll switch to Kmail which already works with GnuPG for
me). Signed emails show up with a broken pen, which, if I click on it,
tries to find the key on a keyserver, which defaults to
www.keyserver.net. I don't find anyone's keys on that. Can someone give
me a hand here?
I'l sign this email so people can get my key - I've got a record on
keyserver.net if anyone needs it :-)

| Hi All,
|
| On behalf of Lee and myself, I would like to thank everyone who
attended the
| LUG meeting last night. This was, by far, the best attended meeting so far
| and I hope it is a sign of things to come.
|
| As an idea for the next meeting, I suggested we have a key signing
party to
| establish a web-of-trust within the LUG. So to set the scene:
|
| Your mission Mr. Phelps... should you choose to accept it... is to
bring along
| some evidence of identity e.g. your passport, your GnuPG key
fingerprint and
| key size and some means of accessing your GnuPG public key (either by
| keyserver or web/ftp URL).
|
| Don't worry if this all sounds Chinese to you. We have plenty of
members who
| have done this and are willing to help those who're attempting it for the
| first time. Just ask for help and you'll receive it ;-)
