We're still here....

Actually, while you are on...got a quick question regarding email.  On Solaris, it is possible for me to enter the address of my main mail server into /etc/hosts and then provide a "mailhost" alias on the same line.  I can then create a .forward file in my home directory which will then forward any mails to my main account.  Is this simple functionality also available on Linux?
