It was a very enjoyable meeting & nice to meet some new people. I found the
various topics interesting and was grateful for help in getting puppy onto
my stick. It works a treat!

Assuming I'm allowed to come next Saturday, I wonderd if there might be a
chance to look at a couple of things of mine but I had a couple of ideas
which might have some general interest.

1.  I'll bring the printer to see if we can purge the print queue;

2. I bought a book a few weeks ago about Ubuntu. It contains a DVD which
says it has a version for a Power PC ie my iBook (Clamshell). It says you
copy the iso onto desktop & burn it to CD. Put it in the drive & press C
when you boot & it should put Ubuntu onto the iBook - but it doesn't. I do
not believe any knowledge of Macs is required, just Linux. But it may
possibly be of interest to see how an iso is downloaded, burnt & installed
might it?

3. I've also tried to get my computer to dual boot, I have XP on 1 hard
drive & Ubuntu on another but id doesn't work.

4. I believe DSL works inside windows if you think it maight be something
of interest to see working but I'd need your expertise.

If you're not keen on any of these, no matter - I'll still look forward to
coming & thanks again for an interesting meeting.
