     *Hi Everyone*

The big day is nearly here, so I thought that it would be a great time to
tell you more about the day...

On the day, the official hashtag for Twitter will be *#ucubed*, and for
those of us that use identi.ca it will be *!ucubed*

We have setup a flickr group for all of your pictures and video, so get your
cameras and phones ready ;)

So please do use these to talk, tweet and record the day.



We have some excellent talks lined up already, but anyone can suggest a
talk, just put it on the board!

   - Dan Lynch's keynote
   - Anna Morris' Okay Computer, the philosophy of free software
   - Charlie Owen's Whistlestop tour of Ubuntu
   - Zain Mohammed will talk about Android App Development
   - Mike Rimmicans will talk about Xbox Modifications
   - Jon Chamberlain's talk on Video editing using PiTiVi and KDEnlive
   - Les Pounder will talk about Debian, Linux Mint and Crunchbang Linux.

We also have workshops on,

   - Debian Arcade Machine


   - Blackpool LUG's Debian Demo Area and Installfest, bring your box along
   to install Linux!

Again, anyone can host a workshop too, just stick it on the board!



We will be hosting a raffle, with prizes kindly donated by Canonical, *all
proceeds* from the day will go to support Madlab, who have kindly offered
the venue free of charge!!



So on that note, I'll see you all at 10am this Saturday.
