November 26th : 10am - 5.30pm

MadLab, Northern Quarter, Manchester

‘Physical Computing’ and Arduino devices have made physical
interaction affordable and available to non-experts. Whether creating
interactive installations, information systems, prototyping products,
or making new interfaces, there is a whole world of DIY electronics,
interaction design and rapid prototyping available through this
platform.

What kind of things can you make from physical computing?
A responsible robot bar tender - SOBEar...

to a giant etch a sketch - Project A Sketch...

Your imagination is your limit!

The fee of the Omniversity course is £120, including an Arduino Uno,
breadboard, holder, USB cable, parts bundle and paper and electronic
copy of the teaching materials, software and programmes you create.
Each parts bundle contains jumper wires, 2 pushbuttons, 2
potentiometers, resistors, 10 LEDs, and a photoresistor - which all
this itself costs £40.
