Hi Guys,

Hope you are all in fine form after the holidays. 

I spent a lot of time travelling around to see family and friends, but I
did manage to fit in some recreational geekery (of course).

Specifically, have been working on my MythTV machine, and surprisingly
got it working! 

Still got lots to tweak, and it's currently using a loaned tuner dongle
(thanks, Mike), but have made several (scheduled) recordings and very
happy with the stability, features and the results. Also, Mythweb is a
great way to access recorded content on other computers without
transcoding (and means I can send the kids off to watch Pokemon in
another room).  

Will tell you more at the next LUG - BTW, when is that? ;-)
