Hi All,

not sure if you have seen this:
http://gu1.aeroxteam.fr/2012/01/19/bypass-screensaver-locker-program-xorg-111-and-up/

in short it allows you to press ctrl-alt-* (the * on the numpad) and
disable the screensaver and return to the desktop without the need for
entering a password.

Most distro's have fixed the problem but you need to make sure you have
installed the updated xkeyboard-config package.
