This is the retro games event that I go to every year.
It used to be at Norbreck Castle, but it was so popular that it had to get
a bigger venue, so now they are at Event City (next door to The Trafford
Centre) in Manchester.

I'll be going on October 13th, and everyone is free to join me.
Tickets are £15 for the day.

  Replay Expo has always been the only UK video games event which caters
for all aspects of video games – from console, PC and mobile to classic
gaming including arcade and pinball right through to pro gaming/eSports and
even cosplay. However the Replay Expo has outgrown its old venue and this
year is moving to a brand new location: EventCity in Manchester. Under its
new name *Play Expo*, the 2012 show will feature four distinct events:

The *now.play *area at Play Expo will feature the very latest games and
hardware for X-Box 360, Playstation 3, Wii, PC and Handhelds as well as
mobile gaming. Expect to see previews of Christmas releases from major
publishers and the very latest cutting edge hardware for all your favourite
consoles and PC.

For two years, Replay Expo delivered its retro gaming fix to over 7,000
gamers. The *re.play* event at Play Expo will feature everything you have
grown to love about Replay Expo and so much more. Expect more arcade, more
pinball, more consoles, more of everything and some surprises along the way!

Our *pro.play* zone will be presented by eSports specialists EGL and will
be the biggest LAN event ever to take place in Manchester. Featuring live
online streaming of tournaments on the latest console games, pro.play will
offer some fantastic cash prizes for the winners, and of course the kudos
of being crowned pro.play champion!

After the overwhelming popularity of our cosplay talks and masquerades at
last year's Replay, we're now introducing a dedicated Cosplay event at Play
Expo, which has we've imaginatively entitled *cos.play*. This
dedicated area will feature masquerades, talks, anime and plenty more!
