Opentech, a large unconference in London is on again this year. It might be
worth booking a LUG outing to this event.
The last one I went to was in 2011, and it was great fun, with lots of
great speakers, and chance to interview lots of really interesting people.

I'll be going, and booking my train tickets well in advance ;)
