This looks like our final design for the mame cabinet.  Even the
motherboard used is the same shape as ours.

I've been researching joystick and button input,  best option is an ipac 2
which uses ps2 connection and controls mimic standard keyboard layout.
Other option is a teensy ++ that can mimic a keyboard but needs
programming.

Things look like they are going well with our project :)
