Tony - I've given up on my daughters Vista Laptop and got my Eldest sons old Win7 laptop, I've put it back to factory fresh Windows 7.  If you have other stuff to do, no worries but I'll bring it along in the hope we can stick Linux on it.  No firm ideas what I'll do with a Linux laptop yet but I feel I need one so I can be in with the cool kids!
