[Blackpool] Udemy - Introduction to Raspberry Pi

Is this for work?

Linux ranks in at 22 in our area, and this site thinks it will see growth in the contracts market this coming year: http://www.itjobswatch.co.uk/default.aspx?page=1&sortby=0&orderby=0&q=&id=0&lid=2603
I always think anything on the first page there is a decent career move. Get the worth of a particular skill by taking the average salary and multiplying that by the number of vacancies in your area.

What I do ranks at 241 and as the ranking there has joint ranking I guess my core job skill way back on page 100 or more...! I'll milk it for as long as I can but SQL may end up my plan to keep the lights on at Garlick towers.

SQL for me because, it can still involve development as well as the admin so its varied, I've been developing front ends for massive databases for ages and as I get older I find I like the company of people less and less. So retiring towards developing in a server side technology puts an extra layer of UI people between me and the lusers!

Sounds like the course offering has broadened since I last looked.
For the moment, I've the EdX LFS101 to restart!

Take another look at the M$ Academy, the winds of change are blowing at Redmond... Courses on stuff like MongoDB are there now.
