[Blackpool] Meeting Saturday 4th April 2015

Hi All,

64 Tyldesley Road will be open for a meeting of the Blackpool Makespace from 10am on Saturday 4th April 2015.

Many thanks to all who attended last week and released some of their pent up destructive emotions in our new club room. As we have guests this weekend we must respect their peace and quiet, so noisy demolition work will have to be postponed for this week (more time for computers and general tinkering).

Additionally, Management has expressed a desire for me to refurbish the 2nd floor toilet (complete gutting and start again, including new window and insulation) without further delay, which will take me all of my time over this weekend at least.

On the plus side, once the above has been accomplished, I have been given leave to complete work on the basement. I have ordered new windows for the front and already have on hand most of the materials (except plaster) for the club room works. I could do with some assistance on Saturday ro re-stack the furniture downstairs to give us more working space during the building works.
