Hi James

I've pulled the odd laptop apart in the past depends on the modle if 
easy or hard. If there is access to the heat sink and CPU from the 
bottom of the case Brill, if not it is probably a strip down. what make 
and model is it, and how old?

Should be Video on UTube to help but beware that if things go wrong it 
could cause major problems so I would do a back up before attempting a 
major strip down of the laptop.
