Hi Les

Thanks for the heads up on this one, not personally effected but good to
know. Looking at the Mint blog at the moment they have taken the Web site
off line as still having problems with intrusion and misdirection to the
infected iso. Clem being very up front with the problem and advising
everyone to use the check sum to validate any downloads over the next few
days/weeks.

If you have used the Mint repository to update to 17.3 on that day you do
not need to worry as the repository server has not been compromised. The
problem was a specific redirection to a download for a recompiled Mint 17.3
cinnamon iso with malicious code embedded in it.
