[Bradford] PDF problems

Can anyone help with this...?
I've had something similar a few times before. It's about viewing PDF's
in 'Document Viewer' on Ubuntu 8.04 (but saw it on 7.10 as well)(I don't
use any other PDF viewer...)
Sometimes they just don't look the way they should (colours can be
wrong, text can be a different colour, or the thing just doesn't render
right!)
I think it may be to do with where the PDF has been made. If it's been
made on a Mac, and probably with Illustrator, these seem to be
bothersome.
The PDF here: http://www.airevalleybikebus.org.uk/files/Bikebus_A4_airevalley1.pdf
has been built with the following:
Adobe Illustrator CS3, using
Adobe PDF library 8.00
On a windows machine (with Adobe Reader) it's fine.
On my machine the Blue heading has diagonal white stripes through it (it
should be just a block of blue)
Can anyone else see the problem? Do you have any ideas about how to keep
it consistent across machines?
Thanks
