According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibook the only way of increasing the 
amount of RAM is to get it from Apple. Even if it is still available, you are 
restricted to ½Gb.

Bear in mind that the screen is 600x800 and the processor around 350MHz; so, 
by modern standards, you are not going to get much performance, other than 
from native apps of the time.
