I suspect that the future is unlikely to be as simple as that...
Apache is an upstream software producer with a history of openness,
innovation and supportive of a rich downstream ecology. GPLv3 is a
*much* better license than the LGPLv3 currently used by TDF. The end
state may well be a full GPLv3+ office application derived (by TDF,
perhaps) from the AL code base but it might take a while to get
there...
