It's only on ARM tablets; other hardware is very specifically not included in
the MS directive.
Obviously it would prevent installing Android on a tablet but there are plenty
of Android tablets to choose from.

Even so, it is a matter of principle.
I have always been against mobile phone companies dictating how you use use data you have paid for. My view is: You buy it - you choose how you want to use it. Now that view has extended to the European Parliament. I hope that, likewise, Europe will take on Microsoft over UEFI on ARM.
