Hi,

The next Leeds Girl Geeks event is taking place on February 6th and is
a great chance to hang out in an alternative environment to the local
tech user groups which are predominantly attended by boy geeks.
Previous events have all had a very friendly atmosphere, and this next
one will be rather more informal than previous events.

Just for this February, we've remixed Girl Geek as a less formal
occasion, at Old Broadcasting House, coupling a talk from one of
Leeds' foremost digital artists with a documentary screening, from
LSx's Buffering… series.
Our programme for the evening is as follows...
6pm - Registration, refreshments
7pm - Megan Smith
8pm - Screening of Top Secret Rosies, the true story of WW2's "female" computers
9pm - Skype Q&A with director LeAnn Erickson
9:30pm - Close

Boys can be a big help by sending this on to any girl geeks who might
otherwise not hear about the event.
